Russian energy company Gazprom reported that if Moldova does not fulfill its gas payment obligations by October 20, it may halt shipments.
In the statement made by Gazprom, it was stated that 5.7 million cubic meters of natural gas per day will be delivered to Moldova this month.
In the statement, which was informed that the company’s shipments to Moldova fell due to Ukraine’s attitude, it was noted that Moldova regularly violated its payment obligations for the gas shipped throughout 2022.
In the statement, “Gazprom reserves all its rights, including the right to completely cut off the gas supply and terminate the contract in case of breach of the payment obligation until October 20.
