In the statement, which was informed that the company’s shipments to Moldova fell due to Ukraine’s attitude, it was noted that Moldova regularly violated its payment obligations for the gas shipped throughout 2022.

In the statement, “Gazprom reserves all its rights, including the right to completely cut off the gas supply and terminate the contract in case of breach of the payment obligation until October 20. In the future, any request by Moldova implying changes in the terms of the contract will be made only in the form of additions to the contract,” the statement said. will be made official”.

While a state of emergency was declared in Moldova in January this year due to the inability to supply enough natural gas, the country’s energy company, Moldovagaz, is conducting various negotiations with Gazprom from time to time due to the rising energy bills.
