Kremlin Spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said they were pleased with Musk’s proposal, which he thought would end the war in Ukraine.

Ukraine criticized this proposal on the grounds that it was in favor of Russia.

Kremlin: Extremely positive

“It is extremely positive that someone like Elon Musk is looking for a peaceful way out of this situation,” Peskov said.

“Unlike many professional diplomats, Musk is looking for ways to bring peace. It is not possible to achieve this without fulfilling Russia’s conditions,” Peskov said.

Musk, in his Twitter poll yesterday, suggested that Ukraine should leave Crimea to Russia and that the fate of the regions where the votes were held to join Russia should be determined according to the votes to be held again under the supervision of the United Nations (UN).

As of 13.30 pm, in the survey, in which 2.5 million people participated, 60 percent of the votes were against.

Poll against Zelensky

Kyiv, on the other hand, declared that they would not agree to leave any forcibly taken territory to Russia and that fair referendums could not be held in an environment where people were killed or forced to leave their place of residence.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr  Zelenskiy opened a separate poll, “Which Elon Musk do you like more? The one who supports Russia or the one who supports Ukraine?” posed the question.
