President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenski said in a statement after his meeting with President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, “The implementation of the agreements will strengthen Turkey and Ukraine. I am grateful for these negotiations and support.”

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan had a tete a tete meeting with the leader of Ukraine, Zelenski, and attended the trilateral summit, which was attended by UN Secretary General Guterres, in the city of Lviv, where he went yesterday upon the invitation of President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelenski .

While President Erdoğan’s visit was appreciated around the world, Ukrainian leader Zelenski thanked President Erdoğan by publishing a video after the meeting.

Noting that they discussed security, defense, diplomacy, economy and energy during their meeting with Erdoğan, Zelenski said, “Today, I had extensive talks with President Erdoğan of Turkey on many issues. I am grateful to him for his unwavering support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of our state. In our meeting, we talked about the rebuilding of our country after the war, and I am grateful that he volunteered to protect Kharkov and its environs .

Stating that agreements on infrastructure construction have been signed between Turkey and Ukraine, Zelenski said, “The implementation of the agreements will strengthen Turkey and Ukraine. I am grateful for these negotiations and support . ”

In his first statement after the meeting yesterday, the Ukrainian leader stated that President Erdogan’s visit was a strong message of support and said, “At the meeting in Lviv, the possibility of improving the grain initiative with Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the situation around the Zaporizhia Nuclear Power Plant and the nuclear blackmail of the invaders, the temporary occupation of Russia. Zelenski also expressed confidence that further expansion of cooperation between Ukraine and Turkey would strengthen both sides.
