The media center of the Yemeni army said that the army forces, backed by the popular resistance, repelled a massive offensive operation launched by the Iranian-backed Houthi militia on military sites in the areas surrounding the Central Security Camp and the Republican Palace, east of Taiz.

The center quoted a military source as saying that the attack lasted for more than two and a half hours, during which the Houthi militia suffered losses in equipment and lives, and was forced to retreat and flee.

Recently, the terrorist Houthi militia has intensified its offensive operations on the city of Taiz, in clear and deliberate violation of the UN truce, according to the center.
