Zimbabwe officials visited Kahramanmaraş, which is preparing for EXPO 2023

The Zimbabwe delegation held talks in Kahramanmaraş, which is preparing for EXPO 2023, which will be held with the main theme of “Nature-Friendly City and Sensitivity”.
According to the written statement made by the Municipality of Onikisubat, the delegation, which came to the city to see the area allocated to them at EXPO 2023 to be held on April 23-October 31, 2023 and to get information about the garden they will establish, visited Mayor Hanefi Mahçiçek.
Later, the delegation went to the EXPO 2023 recreation area with Mahçiçek and examined the works there.
Delegation members, who received information from Onikisubat Mayor Mahçiçek, watched the EXPO 2023 promotional film.
Stating that they were happy to see the delegation of the Republic of Zimbabwe in Kahramanmaraş and EXPO 2023, Mahçiçek expressed their satisfaction for the delegation’s visit.
Mahçiçek said, “We will promote Zimbabwe’s culture, history and beauties together at EXPO 2023, both nationally and internationally, in Kahramanmaraş. The area we allotted to Zimbabwe is ready, we will work together to create a beautiful garden.”
Zimbabwe Presidency Strategic Planning and Business Development Director Gamuchirai Kapembeza also thanked Mahçiçek for his kind welcome.
Expressing that their participation in EXPO 2023 will provide Zimbabwe with economic, social and cultural opportunities, Kapembeza noted that they submitted a proposal to sign a fraternity protocol between Onikisubat district and a city from their country.
The Zimbabwe delegation then went to the Kahramanmaraş Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KMTSO), where they met with business people.
