YouChat: ChatGPT-like artificial intelligence search assistant from Google rival You.com

We ‘ve already told you about you.com, backed by Salesforce CEO Marc Benioff and investor Jim Breyer . YOU.com, designed by Richard Socher, former chief engineer of  Salesforce, and backed by Salesforce co-CEO Marc Benioff and investor Jim Breyer, recently launched its ChatGPT-like artificial intelligence search assistant. This tool called YouChat answers your queries in detail, just like ChatGPT. 

Users can perform their queries on You.com as well as direct them to YouChat. Thanks to this new tool, users also answer questions that search engines cannot answer. According to the blog post shared by the startup, YouChat can solve problems by logical inference, unlike ChatGPT. 

Sample questions are also shared for users to get used to YouChat. You can ask questions about a person to YouChat, and ask for their suggestions about your New Year’s plans. In addition, students can get support from YouChat about coding or math equations. 

With it, YouChat can translate and contribute to users’ email, blog post and story writing. The company states that it will continue to work to correct the biases and pitfalls of artificial intelligence, such as disinformation, in YouChat. 

You.com, which received an investment of $ 20 million in November 2021, set out not to use user data in ad targeting. Having social sharing features, you.com aims to provide consumers with a special shopping experience. 

Considering that Microsoft and OpenAI are preparing to bring ChatGPT support to the search engine Bing, we can say that You.com acts much faster than the binary. In light of these developments, it is likely that search experiences with AI speech assistant will meet with avatars in AR and VR environments in the next few years.
