Xi Jinping in Saudi Arabia

Chinese President Xi Jinping arrived in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia.

According to the news of the Saudi Arabian official agency SPA, Shi, who came to the country at the invitation of King Salman bin Abdulaziz, was welcomed at King Khalid International Airport.


The Emir of Riyadh, Faisal bin Bende bin Abdulaziz, Saudi Arabian Foreign Minister Faisal bin Ferhan, National Investment Fund Director Yasir Osman al-Rumeyyan and China’s Ambassador to Riyadh Chen Weiqing were present at the meeting.

Since entering the country’s airspace, the plane of the Chinese President was accompanied by Saudi Arabian planes.

According to the statement made by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China, Xi will attend the China-Arab Countries Summit and the China-Gulf Cooperation Organization Summit to be held in the capital Riyadh during his official visit, covering 7-9 December.

Chinese President Xi visited Riyadh in 2016 and met with Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman in Beijing in 2019.
