Microsoft has had the opportunity to confirm some pleasant news regarding Windows 11 . Since its debut at the end of last year, we have seen the new operating system continue to update itself to allow users to enjoy an experience that is decidedly evolved update after update, ever closer to the new generation that the Redmond giant wants to achieve with its OS.

This time we are talking specifically about some effects related to the camera and calls, which will therefore be able to greatly improve the use of everything for many users. The innovations were confirmed during the new event dedicated to hybrid work , a theme that underlines one of the potentialities of the features presented.

Going specifically to what was announced, the company – as reported by Windows Central – was able to deepen the native support for eye correction, background blur, automatic framing and noise suppression on supported devices that offer a Neural Processing Unit . There has been talk of the Lenovo ThinkPad X13s and its Snapdragon 8cx Gen 3 as one of the first devices with a dedicated NPU.

Everything is designed to work directly on Windows 11, and the giant has not in fact deepened the news only for its apps. This therefore underlines that all those who update their OS to bring these features into their devices will be able to make everything work on every program that will be compatible with the new operating system.

The novelties will therefore be useful both for those who find themselves using their operating system for work reasons, and for those who instead limit themselves to communicating with friends and relatives, but will still have to deal with an improved video calling experience compared to past.
