According to some recent rumors, the next flagship of the Google Pixel series, the Pixel 8 Pro , which will have a flat screen instead of a curved one. According to the leaked information, the Pixel 8 Pro will have a 6.7-inch OLED display with a resolution of 1,344 x 2,992 and a pixel density of 490 PPI. It will be brighter than the previous model, reaching a maximum brightness of 1,600 nits for viewing HDR content. Also, it will have a 120Hz refresh rate for smoother image transition.
The Pixel 8 will also get a new display, with a slightly smaller screen than the Pixel 7, but with a resolution of 1,080 x 2,400. Both models will have more rounded corners and should, as a result, be a little more comfortable to hold with one hand.
The new Pixel phones will feature a larger main camera sensor and are expected to offer improved performance over previous models. Further details will be revealed in the coming months in view of the expected launch later this year. In the past, some rumors have suggested that the Pixel 7a could be the company’s last ‘a’ series phone, which could explain why the Pixel 8 might have a smaller screen.
