In these hours, some new interesting rumors about the next iPhone 15 family have come out . There will be four, like the iPhone 14, but the line-up will most likely undergo an important transformation.
In fact, we will find two “essential” iPhone 15s, including the Plus version with a larger screen, and two tops of the range that are unusually very different from each other. One is the iPhone 15 Pro, which conceptually takes over from the Pro currently on the market, while the other should be called iPhone 15 Ultra, a smartphone that will replace the iPhone 14 Pro Max, however differentiating itself more strongly from the simple 15 Pro.
Let’s start with the latter. According to Mark Bloomberg, the two top-of-the-range models will share a new photographic sector: a new 12MP periscope telephoto lens will arrive. Both phones will then have a new chip called A17 Bionic: we are talking about a 3nm production process and then 8GB of RAM. They will probably both have USB-C input.
As for the more expensive model, the new iPhone 15 Ultra, according to Bloomberg it will be the first Apple phone to have a titanium (and not steel) case, moreover it could also do without the physical keys, replaced by a solution with haptic feedback to simulate the sensation of pressure.
As for the ‘essential’ iPhone 15s, according to analyst Jeff Pu they will both have a new 48MP main camera, against the 12MP of the current solution. They probably won’t have a telephoto lens or LiDAR sensors.
