Italiaonline has announced that refreshments are about to arrive for users affected by the disservice of the Libero and Virgilio emails, which officially ended a few days ago. The modalities of these refreshments will be communicated directly via email in the next few days and will not be of the same amount for all users: they will depend on the subscribed services.

 

Furthermore, the company recalled that the various assistance channels are still available, including a toll-free number and FAQ pages, to provide technical support to all Virgilio and Libero users . The email downtime began on the night of January 22nd and ended on January 28th. After an initial moment of uncertainty – a period in which the hypothesis of a cyber attack had spread -, Italia online explained that the cause was linked to a new external supplier.

During this period, the toll-free number was upgraded to handle user calls. Today, several users have once again reported some disservices to Libero Mail , while in recent days consumer associations, including Codacons, have threatened the possibility of organizing a class action against ItaliaOnLine.
