According to weekly data released by oilfield services company Baker Hughes, the number of oil rigs in the country decreased by 2 to 625 in the week of December 3 to December 9 compared to the previous week.

The number of oil drilling rigs in the USA has increased by 154 in the last year.

The barrel of Brent oil, which closed Thursday at $ 76.15, ended Friday at $ 76.10.

West Texas (WTI) type crude oil closed Friday at $71.50 a barrel. WTI-type crude oil finished at $72.06 on Thursday.
