Saudi Arabian Economy Minister Abdulaziz bin Salman announced that his country’s oil company, Saudi Aramco, has discovered two new oil fields.
In the news in the Saudi Arabian news agency, it was reported that the two oil fields discovered were unusually in the eastern region of the country.
Minister of Economy Abdulaziz, whose views were included in the news, stated that Saudi Aramco’s new discoveries will make a significant contribution to the country’s strategies and emphasized that these new discoveries will strengthen the natural gas reserves of the kingdom.
Abdulaziz stated that the first discovery made in the east of the country was located in the south of the Gavwar oil field, 142 km from the city of al-Hufuf.
Economy Minister Abdulaziz stated that the other discovery was 230 km south of the city of Zahran.
