Last December 14, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Complete Edition, the “definitive” version of CD Projekt RED’s masterpiece, was released on all platforms for which the original game is available. The update is free for those who own the game in one of the previous versions, however in the short term, for those who still need to get a copy of the game, it will also be possible to buy the Complete Edition directly from scratch for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X : for Italy the date is set for January 26th.

Updated to the latest version, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt contains all released downloadable content, along with all new additions, including built-in photo mode, items inspired by The Witcher Netflix series such as alternate swords, armor and clothing, and more, plus refreshed graphics for PC and next-gen consoles.

The new version, promised several months ago, is completely free for all owners of the game, in any version (standard, GOTY or Complete Edition) and on any platform (PC, PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch) and brings with it a Lots of changes and improvements. On PlayStation 5 make sure you download the specific PS5 version from PlayStation Store: if you just update the PS4 version you will get the PS4 Pro update, in practice, but not the whole package. After upgrading, you’ll need to download the PS5 version as well, and then delete the PS4 version to save space.

This is the synopsis of the game:
Take on the role of Geralt of Rivia, hunter of monsters, in a land ravaged by war and infested by terrible creatures. Your contract? Track down Ciri, the Daughter of Prophecy, a living weapon that can alter the fate of the world.
