The Realme X Coca-Cola will really be done: the smartphone teaser appears.
Apparently, the first Coca-Cola-branded smartphone will really come out. Realme reveals the cards: the presentation event soon.
Apparently, the first Coca-Cola-branded smartphone will really come out. It had been talked about insistently in recent days, but it was not clear whether it was a reliable indiscretion or an April Fool’s far in advance.
Until today we had only two elements: a (semi-inactive) account opened on Twitter and an alleged render shared by the well-known tipster IceUniverse.
If you have read our previous news, you will remember that the render in question aroused a discreet sense of déjà-vu: the body of the phone, although disguised behind the Coca-Cola logo, was clearly that of the Realme 10 . And, in fact, the aforementioned Twitter account followed just half a dozen accounts, all belonging to well-known brands in the smartphone market, including Xiaomi and Realme.
The proverbial ‘ smoking gun ‘ comes to us right now from the official Realme website, which has been updated with the teaser of an imminent presentation. ” Realme is set to get really refreshing “, reads the banner, which also shows the silhouette of a smartphone wrapped in a liquid of that hyper-recognizable shade between dark and amber typical of Coca-Cola bubbles. In short, there are really no more doubts: realme is about to present a smartphone made in collaboration with Coca-Cola.
But that doesn’t mean that the initiative isn’t still shrouded in a bit of mystery. For example, we don’t know if the phone will go on sale in all markets. Some previous rumors spoke of an initiative intended exclusively for the Indian market , where realme is very strong. The fact that the promotional material released up to now is in English, and is therefore aimed at an international audience, kindles a glimmer of hope, which is however immediately killed by the fact that, if you click on ‘notify me’, realme predicts how the only possibility is to send an SMS. Too bad that, when we are asked to enter the phone number, realme only provides the possibility of selecting the international prefix +91. That is, that of India.
