The OnePlus Ace 2 is a flagship killer that we absolutely want to see in Italy: S8+G1 for less than €400.
The OnePlus Ace 2 embodies the flagship killer philosophy that made the brand famous in its infancy. Will it ever arrive in Italy too?
OnePlus has presented a new smartphone that embodies the flagship killer philosophy that had distinguished the brand in its infancy. It’s called OnePlus Ace 2 and is currently only available in China.
The smartphone has already made itself known for its excellent relationship between quality and price. Mid-range price, but performance very close to that of a top of the range. In short, a step forward even to the first OnePlus Nord, which had already quickly achieved a very similar fame in its time.
For starters, the OnePlus Ace 2 bills itself as one of the cheapest ways to get your hands on a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1- powered phone . Sure, it’s not Gen 2, but we’re still talking about what until a few months ago was the reference SoC on the top-of-the-range Android market. Frankly speaking, the average user wouldn’t notice the difference with the last generation, even playing demanding games or many applications simultaneously.
We find a dedicated processor for energy efficiency, the SuperVooc S , as well as a really interesting display (refresh rate up to 120Hz, 1.5K resolution). The only sacrifices must be made on the photographic front, actually a few steps behind what we are used to seeing on top of the range and on medium-high range phones.
The fact is that, at the current exchange rate, the OnePlus Ace 2 with 12GB of Ram starts at 385 euros in China. Really not bad. Who knows if we will soon see it in Italy too.
