The new Realme GT Neo 5 supports 240W charging: it recharges to 100% in 9 minutes

The new Realme GT Neo 5 has been officially presented in China. We will most likely see it soon also in Italy, even if it is not certain that it will keep all the interesting characteristics of the model destined for the Chinese market.

Like its predecessors, the GT Neo 5 also presents itself as an extremely interesting mid-range with an extra gear (to put it mildly) compared to all the other smartphones in this category, and even compared to many top of the range: the times of charging . In fact, the phone in China will be available in two versions: one with 150W charging, a now widespread standard, and another with 240W charging . A splinter without comparison.

For the rest, we are talking about an excellent mid-range powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 , i.e. an excellent SoC which, we recall, until a few months ago was the spearhead of the entire Android top-of-the-range market (i most recent flagships are now equipped with the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 2).

The look is simply remarkable, thanks to the 25-color RGB LED mounted on the rear shell. We therefore find a 6.74-inch screen with a maximum refresh rate of 144Hz, 16GB of RAM and 1TB of internal memory. Camera side, the Realme GT Neo 5 is equipped with a 16MP front camera and a 50MP+8MP+2MP triple rear camera solution.

In China it starts from 2,499 yuan for the basic model with 150W, while for the Realme GT Neo 5 with 240W charging you have to go up to 3,199 yuan, or around €439.
