Project Cambria anticipated by a teaser by Mark Zuckerberg

Recently, Mark Zuckerberg , the well-known CEO of Meta (formerly Facebook ) was able to provide an interesting insight into the world of virtual reality. We are talking specifically about a presentation shown by Engadget which featured Project Cambria , the new viewer of the company that should be released by the end of this year. The device in question, as we know, could cost over 799 USD , but at the moment the company has not provided many precise indications on the matter.

In fact, it must be said that the new AR devices should have very different purposes than what was seen with the Meta Quests already released by the giant, and in fact it seems that the new device will be designed specifically for work environments, with some employees of the company that in the past they have defined it as a real laptop for the face .

We still do not have a precise vision of what the design of the new jewel will be, considering that the new video presented by Meta only includes the face in an obscured way, and we will therefore have to wait some more time before we can finally find out more details on the matter. . All that remains is to hope that the company will have the opportunity to continue to investigate the device over the next few months and will not have to postpone it to next year, thus entering the metaverse market as soon as possible as has been expected for some time.

It seems that the plan is to allow users to be able to work universities for the new Facebook metaverse, which should be able to be supported instead thanks to a new dedicated app developed by the company, which in the future would seem ready to arrive also for Meta Quest. In any case, the new viewer of the colossus would seem born specifically to be able to make users interact with the metaverse, therefore not being focused with the world of video games as seen with the Quests but having completely different objectives.
