The Dark Pictures: Switchback VR has been postponed, it was due at the launch of PSVR2

Supermassive has announced the postponement of The Dark Pictures: Switchback VR with a tweet . The game, which was originally supposed to accompany the launch of PS VR2, will arrive on March 16, 2023,  instead of February 22, 2023. It is therefore a decidedly limited slip and which will allow the team to further refine the product.

It has always been our goal to release the game in the PlayStation VR2 launch window, but it is also deeply important to us that you, the gamer, receive the most polished and terrifying experience possible when you start your first run with The Dark Pictures Switchback VR – reads the tweet – With this in mind, we have made the difficult decision to set a new launch date to March 16, 2023. 

For the uninitiated,  The Dark Pictures: Switchback VR  is the new shooter for PS VR 2 set in the universe of The Dark Pictures Anthology. Developed by Supermassive Games, the game will take advantage of all the features of the new generation Sony viewer to immerse the player in an extremely immersive thrilling experience.
