The Abarth 500e Scorpionissima is just the beginning. In the future, the historic Italian brand will offer even more powerful and performing versions of its first electric car. Who knows if he will be able to do something to improve even the ‘modest’ autonomy of the car.

Olivier Fracois explained that tomorrow Abarth will also offer sporty versions of the other Fiat-branded electrics. As the Italian manufacturer’s line-up includes more electric cars, Abarth in turn will extend its catalog with respective versions optimized for sporty driving.
The Abarth 500e features a 114 kW / 155 HP electric motor with 235 Nm of maximum torque. The sprint from 0 to 100 km/h takes 7 seconds, while the speed is electronically limited to 155 km/h. To do better – suggests the CEO of Fiat and Abarth – it will probably be necessary to use different powertrains and not derived from that of the classic electric 500. Who knows, perhaps in this way a greater power will not necessarily correspond to a skimpy autonomy.
