On Reddit, some users have complained that after a few hours of gameplay, the PS5 overheats and becomes bricked. The general opinion is that this is an update-oriented issue. Because the number of people who made this complaint is very limited. In other words, it does not even exceed the number of fingers on a hand.
Considering that thousands of PS5s have been sold so far, it seems normal to have a few faulty devices with this type of problem.
Since the devices that are already broken are under warranty, there is no problem. Moreover, similar problems also appeared on the Xbox Series X. In general, such problems are experienced at the first release of every console.
As it will be remembered, Xbox 360 was on the agenda with 3 red light errors for a long time. Moreover, this error appeared quite common on Xbox 360 consoles.
Therefore, when compared to this error, the heating problem in PS5 can not even be called a problem. Of course, if the number of such complaints increases in the coming days, the color of the matter may change. Still, we’ll have to wait and see.
