According to data revealing that the slowdown in economic growth is putting pressure on consumer demand, smartphone sales in China in the third quarter fell to 70 million, from 78.9 million in the same period last year.

Apple became the only brand to increase its sales. Its sales increased by 36 percent to 11.3 million units.

Vivo, which sold 14.1 million units in the third quarter, achieved a market share of 20 percent.

The sales of the 3 largest companies in the market, Vivo, OPPO and Honor, decreased by 23 percent, 27 percent and 16 percent, respectively. Apple had a 13 percent market share. Xiomi’s sales also fell 17 percent.
