A full-bodied leak has revealed all the secrets of Samsung’s next top-of-the-range smartphone line. The Samsung Galaxy S23 will be presented next February, during the annual Unpacked event.
We already know all their features: complete data sheet, availability and even prices. Also this year there will be three and will have different characteristics and prices: Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23 Plus and Galaxy S23 Ultra.
Let’s start with the top of the range, the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra. It will be able to count on a 6.8-inch QHD+ AMOLED screen with a resolution of 3088×1440 pixels and a refresh rate of 120Hz. It will be available in different models, with as many cuts of RAM and storage. We therefore find a version with 8 / 256GB and 12 / 1024GB.
The heart of this smartphone will be the acclaimed Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, the spearhead of the current top-of-the-range Android offering. The 5000mAh battery supports 45W wired and 10W wireless charging.
We then move on to the photographic sector, where we find a new 200MP ISOCELL HP2 sensor , 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens (with 120-degree FOV and f/1.4 aperture), 10MP telephoto lens (f/2.4, OIS, 3x optical zoom) and a second 10MP periscopic telephoto lens (f/4.9, 10x optical zoom, OIS).
The Galaxy S23 and the Galaxy S23+ are similar. On the first we find a 6.1-inch AMOLED FHD + resolution of 2340×1080 pixels, while on the second one a 6.6-inch screen with the same characteristics. The battery is 3900 mAh and will support 25W wired and 10W wireless charging, while on the Plus we find a 4700 mAh battery.
As for the photographic sector, we find a 50MP main camera, a 10MP telephoto lens and a 12MP wide angle. Both will be available exclusively with 8GB of RAM, but users will be able to choose between models with different storage space.
We know the prices of the Australian market, which confirm the increases anticipated in recent months. It starts at 1350 AUD for the Galaxy S23 and 1650 AUD for the Galaxy S23+.
