Russian Consul General in Istanbul Andrey Buravov Made Remarks to CNN Turk. Speaking about the Turkey-Russia-Syria tripartite talks, Buravov said, “Russia has a positive view of the normalization of relations between Syria and Turkey. If both sides are ready for this, they are open to supporting this process as long as they can.” and continued as follows:

“As A Clear Indication Of This, I Can Show The Meeting Of The Defense Ministers In Russia recently . The continuation of this is being worked on. It is planned that the Foreign Ministers will meet. The technical preparations are continuing. When these are completed, the necessary explanation will be made.”

NATURAL GAS CENTER PLANNED TO BE ESTABLISHED IN TURKEY

Speaking about the natural gas center expected to be established in Turkey, Buravov said;

“Cooperation in the field of energy is very important for us. Gas has been supplied from several directions so far. Nord Stream and Turk current. From here, there is the opportunity to supply gas both to Turkey and to other countries via Turkey. Our President has a proposal. Turkey responded positively to our proposal.

Necessary instructions were given to the relevant institutions and units of the two countries. Investigations are being made. Technical work continues. When conditions allow, gas can be delivered to world markets through Turkey’s territory.
