Iranian President Ibrahim Reisi and Qatar Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamed Al Thani discussed “economic, political, social and cultural” issues between the two countries.
According to the Iranian official agency IRNA, the President of the Republic had a telephone conversation with the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim.

Reisi mentioned the “development of economic, political, social and cultural relations” between the two countries and pointed out the importance of following the agreements until they reach the desired result.
Congratulating the Qatari government for successfully organizing the FIFA 2022 World Cup, President Ali stressed that he also appreciated the country’s “efforts to respect Islamic values”.
The Emir of Qatar also described the relations between the two countries as “friendly”, expressing that they want to develop this relationship and the necessity of implementing the agreements.
