PlayStation VR2, new trailer illustrates the features applied to the gameplay of the games.
Sony has released a new trailer dedicated to PlayStation VR2, which illustrates the new features of the headset for PS5. Let’s see the video.
A few days after the launch, PlayStation VR2 shows itself again in a new trailer that illustrates the features of the new PS5 viewer applied to game gameplay. PS VR2 will allow players to enjoy an even more immersive gaming experience thanks to the eye tracking system, which will allow players to interact more intuitively in new and realistic ways, and many other features such as Foveated Renering, a technique that reduces the load of rendering work by dramatically increasing image quality in peripheral vision. Let’s see the video:
As a reminder, PS VR2 will also offer 4K HDR graphics with four times the resolution of the original PlayStation VR headset. With an OLED display, gamers can marvel at 2000×2040 screen resolution per eye and smooth 90/120Hz frame rates. Also, thanks to PS5’s Tempest 3D AudioTech technology , sounds from the surrounding game environment come to life, to add a new level of engagement.
There will also be a haptic feedback system , both in the headset and in the controller, which also includes adaptive triggers like the PS5’s DualSense. The design has also been revised compared to the previous model: now in fact the viewer is aesthetically softer in shape and lighter.
Furthermore, the catalog of games announced for the viewer is already varied and full-bodied. The list, in fact, includes titles such as Horizon: Call of the Mountain, Hello Neighbor: Search and Rescue, The Dark Pictures: Switchback VR , Beat Saber and many others.
The new viewer will be available starting February 22, 2023 at a cost of 599.99 euros. The package will include PlayStation VR2, the stereo headset and a pair of controllers.
