Optimus Prime and the other Transformers arrive in Fortnite
Epic Games has announced a new collaboration with the popular game Fortnite. After Star Wars, now it’s up to the Transformers to invade the game island.
During Summer Game Fest 2023 , Epic unveiled a new cinematic trailer for Fortnite Chapter 4, Season 3. The colorful video briefly showcased new features and mechanics coming soon to the popular virtual sandbox/Battle Royal. Highlights include the ability to ride raptors and the presence of Optimus Prime , the protagonist of the legendary Transformers series.
The season, aptly titled Fortnite Wilds , focuses on lush, nature-themed environments, untamed creatures, and discovering what lurks beneath the crumbling ground. Raptors, mud, and vines offer new ways to explore Fortnite’s expansive locations. You won’t have to wait long: Chapter 4, Season 3 is out today, Friday, June 9, 2023.
As for the skins dedicated to Optimus Prime and the other Transformers, obviously it will be necessary to buy them using real money. Capitalizing on the huge popularity of the game, Epic has formed numerous and frequent partnerships, which have allowed them to bring some of the most iconic pop culture characters to Fortnite, including Keanu Reeves, Anakin Skywalker and Boba Fett, as well as Geralt from The Witcher and Resident Evil’s Leon Kennedy and Claire Redfield. Epic has also partnered with a number of brands, which have taken advantage of the game world of Fortnite to advertise their new products.
