Oppo is quick on Android 13

The company announced its ColorOS 13-based Android 13 December update schedule for the global market.
Oppo made the announcement on Twitter to announce its December release schedule for ColorOS 13. The company will be rolling out stable and beta versions of the software to a large number of smartphones this month. However, this timeline is an estimate and certain models in some countries may experience unforeseen delays. In addition, operator-specific models are subject to update programs determined by the operators.
The flagship Find X5 and Find X3 series are already receiving stable ColorOS 13 update in some regions. The Reno 8 Pro and Reno 8 are also reportedly getting the latest software. This month, the update will expand to Find X series smartphones alongside the older Reno. Quite a number of budget and mid-range smartphones will also be updated.
With the update comes a design language called ‘Aquamorphic’. It will come up with some tweaks here and there to provide an overall better experience. It’s almost similar to that of ColorOS 12, except that users can now maximize folders. Although it may seem like a simple feature, it is very useful. It also includes an “Always On Display” and PC connectivity update.
