Jan Standel, vice president of marketing and communications at Opera, said the feature isn’t available to the public at the moment, but will be available in browsers shortly. According to the shares, Opera is working on other AI-powered features that improve the browsing experience and plans to add popular AI-generated content services to the sidebar. It is not yet clear when these plans will become reality.

Opera isn’t the only company to integrate ChatGPT into its browser. Last week, Microsoft also announced the revamped Bing and Edge browser powered by OpenAI . Microsoft started a ChatGPT-like experience in the search engine by integrating OpenAI’s GPT-4 model into Bing; It had also released a new version of the Edge browser with new artificial intelligence features built into the sidebar.

Google also introduced the artificial intelligence search bot Bard earlier last week . In fact, Bard caused a drop in Alphabet shares due to his wrong answer
