2K Games Has Been Hacked and Says Gamers Should Reset Their Passwords

After Rockstar, another company now affiliated with Take-Two, 2K Games, was also attacked.

According to a tweet shared by the company on Twitter, 2K Games announced that it became aware that an authorized person illegally accessed the help desk platform that 2K company uses to provide support to its customers by unauthorized third parties. Immediately after the announcement, 2K took this helpdesk platform offline.

It was later confirmed that these dangerous third parties had sent a malicious link to some players. The 2K support team said that everyone who clicked on the link should change their password immediately, activate their anti-virus programs, and all authentications that can be activated should be activated.

Along with the statement made from 2K Games’ Twitter account, which was not hacked, it was also stated that players should not click on the links in the mails from 2K during this process and that no 2K employees would ask for their passwords.

Last week, with footage and videos leaking from GTA 6 , this is the second major blow to Take-Two, the parent company of 2K and Rockstar. Currently, Take-Two is seeking those responsible for the leak and attack, along with the FBI and the US Department of Justice.
