The New York stock market started the last trading day of the week with a rise.
At the opening, the Dow Jones index rose 0.09 percent to 33,073.46 points.

According to the company’s balance sheet, Netflix’s subscriber base increased by 7.7 million in the last quarter of last year, exceeding market expectations.
While the statements of the US Federal Reserve (Fed) officials continue to be followed by investors, Philadelphia Fed President Patrick Harker reiterated that he favors the monetary policy being restrictive enough. Harker said he expects the Fed to raise rates a few more times this year.
