Satvik Sethi, who until a few days ago was the No. 1 of Mastercard’s NFT division, has decided to resign in a way that is at least consistent with his profile. His letter of resignation was registered on the blockchain, effectively becoming a Non-Fungible Token.

Sethi announced that the choice to resign was not easy and that from now on he intends to devote himself entirely to the so-called Web3, i.e. all that set of projects that have to do with cryptocurrencies, NFTs, and decentralized finance.

Working for Mastercard I felt harassed and emotionally distressed by a series of situations poorly managed by the company and poorly communicated. There were several months in which to receive my salary I literally had to beg my superiors, because the payments were not regular

he wrote in the letter, which can be purchased in the form of NFTs. The minting phase is still ongoing and currently 12 have been sold, at about $40 each. Sethi claims that the proceeds from the sale will be donated to charity. The former Mastercard executive also said he wants to spend more time making art. On Twitter, he shared some of his own creations, which however seem to be the product of some kind of generative AI.
