JetCycle Max: allows you to ride on water
This is the reclining bicycle that literally flies over water. It does it like a hydrofoil and a kayak with a backrest.
Its name is JetCycle Max and it is the reclining bicycle that flies on the water . A mix of kayaks with a backrest that rides on the water, rising like a hydrofoil. The French company JetCycle has devised this innovative idea to allow humans to pedal in maximum comfort.
The French company was inspired by the design of the nautical industry for its new creation. We are talking about a refined composite hull made with vacuum infusion. It has been refined to have the perfect recipe between low weight and optimal stiffness . The pilot has a low seat like that of a kayak with a rear seat and not like that of the frame of a normal two-wheeler.
It has two carbon fiber wings , the bike is 3.4m long and weighs 35kg. Unlike other pedal assisted electric water bikes it is 100% human powered. It relies on the rider’s pedaling to move the variable pitch propeller located at the rear. A Gates belt drive transfers the rider’s power.
The recommended heights for adjusting the pedals are between 1.5 and 2 meters. The foil pitch is governed and adjusted by the pilot for lifting thanks to simple handles on both sides of the boat. The ideal speed for lifting and sliding on the water is 9 km / h. How much does a JetCycle Max cost? It costs 12 thousand euros!
