Launched its first satellite into space

The satellite, called Kuwait Sat-1, was launched from Cape Canaveral Base in Florida on the Falcon 9 rocket of American spacecraft and rocket manufacturer SpaceX.
Kuwait announced that it has launched its first satellite from a platform in the US state of Florida.
In the news in the country’s official news agency KUNA, it was stated that the “Kuwait Sat-1” satellite was sent into space from Cape Canaveral Base in Florida with the Falcon 9 rocket of the American spacecraft and rocket manufacturer SpaceX.
In the news that the station at the Faculty of Science of Kuwait University, where data and photo shoots will be sent after the satellite reaches space, is ready, it was pointed out that the Sat-1 satellite is a project of the university with the slogan “Kuwait Goes to Space”.
It was pointed out in the news that the satellite project, financed by the Kuwait Science Development Foundation, lasted for 3 years, and it was noted that the project aimed to train Kuwaiti youth in this field.
Ahmed al-Kenderi, the director of his project, explained that the satellite will orbit the earth and has a high-resolution camera that sends the images for analysis by the expert team.
Kenderi stated that about 67 people from various scientific degrees and specialties worked on the project.
