We are getting closer and closer to the launch of the iPhone 14 , with the company that seems ready to introduce more and more improvements to the devices in question, and which however may not yet have an important novelty ready that has been talked about for some time now. In fact, we have seen several reports anticipating that the Touch ID under the screen would be presented over time, but apparently everything will not arrive in the next devices.

According to what we know, everything should arrive during the month of September 2022, imagining that the company continues its classic tradition of the reveal with a dedicated event before the end of the year. Last month, the company was able to file a patent regarding the presence of a fingerprint sensor under the screen , which therefore led to speculation regarding the possible addition of the novelty.

However, the well-known analyst Ming-Chi Kuo spoke of how everything should arrive only in the course of 2023, to then deny everything and anticipate the fact that it will probably take even longer. In fact, according to Kuo, it seems that in 2023 and 2024 the company will remove support for the fingerprint sensor and Face ID will remain the only biometric option to unlock your devices.

As for the further anticipated news, it seems that the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max will definitively abandon the notch for a dual sensor, with one of the two pill-shaped, with the camera expected to go from 12 MP to 48 MP . Obviously, all that will remain is to wait for more news on the matter, which will arrive when Apple will finally be able to launch the new iPhone 14 series, which together with the two Pro models should also include the basic and Max versions.
