Huawei App Gallery has decided to remove Tencent games from its platform. Although the reason for this was not clearly understood at first, everything became clear later on.
Until now, Tencent has been sharing revenues with Huawei without any setbacks, and recently, the firm stated that it has made major changes regarding the cooperation between the two companies. Then Huawei stepped in.
The mobile game platform developed by Huawei shelved the contract with Tencent Games. Thus, the mobile game promotion project agreement was completely cancelled. The most important reason for the disagreement here is the sharing between the two.
Under normal circumstances, there is an ongoing procedure between Huawei and Tencent. Accordingly, the revenues are given to both companies at predetermined rates, but the fact that a game such as PUBG brought a very serious income caused a disagreement between the two. Huawei company then decided to stop using the game.
