The incident occurred at a supermarket in the Forum Mall in Bend, a small city on the Deschutes River, 210 kilometers southeast of the Oregon state capital of Salem.
ABC News wrote that 3 people lost their lives due to the Attack .
The Bend Police Department told ABC News that the suspect was among the dead.
Police said the suspect entered through the back door of the mall and shot at least one person near the western entrance, then headed for the supermarket and continued the assault.
The US press announced that there were also injured. There is no official statement as to whether the incident was a terrorist attack.
