Apparently, Hogwarts Legacy will keep us busy for over 100 hours of gameplay. But how many hours does it take to complete the storyline alone? The Lead Designer mentioned it.
According to what has emerged in the last few days, Hogwarts Legacy will last a total of over 100 hours. But how many hours does it take to complete the campaign alone? This was indicated by Lead Designer Kelly Murphy, who reveals that it will take about 40 hours to complete the plot alone on the first run.
Obviously if you know the interior of the Hogwarts castle it is possible to complete the campaign more quickly , but most of the users who will walk the corridors of the famous School of Witchcraft and Wizardry for the first time will need more or less than 40 hours to get to the end credits, leaving out the secondary quests.
An information that is basically in line with what was discovered by the artbook leak which speaks of 35 hours to complete the campaign and with the recent statements of the other Avalanche developers, who reported that it will take over 80 hours to complete all the quests.

Hogwarts Legacy will be released on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC on February 10, 2023, with 72-hour early access starting on February 7, 2023. The version for the previous generation of consoles, however, will be slightly delayed compared to expected: it will be released on April 4, 2023 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One and on July 25, 2023 on Nintendo Switch.
