The search and rescue team from Greece completed their work and returned to their country yesterday. The team, which was sent off with applause at Istanbul Airport, was greeted with applause at the Thessaloniki Airport by Vice Consul Gökçe Över and a group of citizens from the Turkish Consulate in Thessaloniki.

The Greek search and rescue team, which came to Turkey after the Kahramanmaraş-based earthquakes , worked day and night in the region to save the earthquake victims alive under the rubble. The teams completed their work and started their return journey gradually.
The team, who left Turkey yesterday, was applauded for minutes on the way to the plane at Istanbul Airport, and was greeted at Thessaloniki Airport with applause and flowers by Vice Consul Gökçe Över from the Turkish Consulate General in Thessaloniki and a group of citizens.
