Gran Turismo 7 VR for PS VR2 officially announced at CES 2023

Gran Turismo 7 VR for PS VR2 officially announced at CES 2023.
At CES 2023, Sony announced that Gran Turismo 7 VR will be available on PS VR2 on the headset’s launch day.
On the occasion of CES 2023 , Sony PlayStation announced some of the news coming to PS VR2 , its new virtual reality headset. Among these there will also be the arrival of Gran Turismo 7 VR , a free mode for owners of the game, which will be available at the launch of the headset, set for February 22, 2023.
Unfortunately at the moment the official information regarding this new mode is very few. Speaking on stage, Jim Ryan, president and CEO of SIE, did not provide many details, limiting himself only to showing a short gameplay video recorded directly from the cockpit of a car in the game, with a driver intent on making the perfect lap of the track in order to be able to get the better of the other drivers in the race. Here is the video:
We recall that it is not the first time that Polyphony Digital has chosen to support Virtual Reality, given that the team had previously already released a VR version for Gran Turismo Sport , obviously dedicated to the first viewer for PlayStation 4.
Before leaving you, we remind you that Gran Turismo 7 has recently received Patch 1.27 with the introduction of five new racing cars (Alfa Romeo Giulia GTAm ‘20, Bugatti Chiron ’16, Chevrolet Corvette C8 Stingray ’20, Ferrari Vision Gran Turismo, Toyota Celica GT-FOUR Rally Car (ST205) ’95), new circuits and the resolution of more and less known problems.
