Google One continues to reach new heights. Google’s Android application/hub has surpassed 1 billion downloads worldwide. This is a remarkable result, especially if we consider that the application offers services accessible for a fee.

We don’t know how many of the downloads accumulated to date have translated into a paid subscription, but it’s still a noteworthy achievement. Google One is a cloud storage service: you can store images, files, and much more. The most expensive plan of Google One, the one from € 9.99 per month, in addition to offering 2TB of storage space for backups, emails and multimedia files, also allows access to the official Google VPN service.

All users registered with Google services have up to 15GB of cloud storage available. Those who wish, according to their needs, can then increase the storage space by paying a monthly subscription with a different cost depending on the amount of GB purchased. It starts from €1.99 a month to get 100GB, while the intermediate 200GB plan costs €2.99/month.

The most expensive plan, the €9.99 Premium, among other things also offers a 10% credit to be used for purchases from the Google Store. Google cyclically pampers its most loyal subscribers by giving away products. For example, Premium subscribers had received a free Google Home device, as had happened years earlier to YouTube Premium subscribers.
