Sony has revealed which PSVR games will receive the free upgrade to the PlayStation VR2 version. We recall, in fact, that the new generation virtual reality viewer will not have backwards compatibility with the software of the first model of the Sony viewer for  PS4 , so its games will not be supported by the new model. However, there will be some titles that will receive an update to work on PS VR2.

Here is the list of games that will receive the free upgrade to the PS VR2 version:

  • After The Fall
  • Hello Neighbor VR: Search and Rescue
  • Light Brigade
  • No Man’s Sky
  • Pistol Whip
  • Zenith: The Last City

As you can see, the list of titles that will receive the upgrade currently has only a handful of games, but it is very likely that these will increase soon. Before leaving you, we remind you that at the moment it is already possible to pre-order the viewer also in Italy at the price of 599.98 euros. The package includes the PlayStation VR viewer, the Sense controller (right and left) with straps, USB cable for recharging the controllers, stereo earphones with three pairs of ear tips and a printed manual.

The new PlayStation VR2 is designed to fully immerse the player in the gaming experience. The viewer will offer  4K HDR graphics  with a resolution four times better than the original PlayStation VR viewer. The  OLED display  will allow gamers to admire a screen resolution of 2000×2040 per eye, as well as a frame rate set to  90/ 120Hz .

In addition, there will also be an eye tracking system,  which allows players to interact more intuitively in new and realistic ways and many other exclusive features. The design has also been revised compared to the previous model: now in fact the viewer is aesthetically softer in shape and lighter.
