Friendly Operation of Indian teams continues

India’s search-rescue and health professionals, who came to Turkey as part of the Friendly Operation after the earthquakes, continue their work. Sudhi Choudhary, Consul General of India in Istanbul, informed Demirören News Agency (DHA) about the work of the teams yesterday morning and emphasized that the word ‘Friend’ is the same in both Turkish and Hindi in terms of pronunciation and meaning.

Sudhi Choudhary, Consul General of India in Istanbul, said in a statement to DHA yesterday morning that a search-and-rescue team consisting of 152 people from India has been working day and night by reaching the Earthquake Areas As Part Of The Friendly Operation, Since The First Days Of The Earthquakes. In addition to sending humanitarian aid to meet the needs of the earthquake victims with the instruction of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, 99 health professionals from the Indian army came to the earthquake areas with medical aids about 10 days ago and started treating the injured in the field hospital.
