On the occasion of Microsoft’s Developer_Direct, Turn 10 showed in a long video some in-engine clips and unpublished gameplay scenes from Forza Motorsport. The video, which you can find below, emphasizes the characteristics of the game starting from the graphics sector which boasts raytracing and latest-generation reflections up to the settings and much more.
Built to leverage the power of current generation Xbox consoles, Forza Motorsport is the most advanced racing game ever. Upon release, Forza Motorsport features over 500 cars to collect, drive and customize with over 800 unique upgrades.
Including over 100 new cars , much more modern than seen in the past and also the progress on the physical models of the cars is significantly higher than what was seen in Forza Motorsport 7. For the first time in Forza Motorsport, moreover, there is a day cycle /night with climatic conditions that evolve dynamically.
In total, finally, 20 settings have been created , for an unspecified number of circuits, specifically for this generation, including a completely new one in South Africa. Each environment is created by processing thousands of GB of data, to obtain the most realistic look possible.
