Foreign direct investment in China increased by 12.2%

Foreign direct investment (FDI) in China increased by 12.2 percent in the 11 months of the year compared to the same period of the previous year.
According to the statement made by the Ministry of Commerce of China, foreign direct investments in the country reached 178.08 billion dollars with an annual increase of 12.2 percent in the January-November period.
In this period, investments from South Korea increased by 122.1 percent in yuan terms, by 52.6 percent from Germany, 33.1 percent from England and 26.6 percent from Japan.
In the same period, China’s direct investments abroad (ODI) increased by 3.6 percent annually and reached 102.66 billion dollars.
