The person who hit Altay goalkeeper Ozan Evrim with the corner post in the Izmir derby was arrested for deliberate attempt to kill him and sent to prison. The prosecutor counted the corner post as a weapon.
In his letter of referral to the court, the public prosecutor emphasized that the suspect Nihat Aydın hit the back and neck of the head, which is the life zone of Altay goalkeeper Ozan Evrim, more than once with a ‘gun’ suitable for killing, and that he had to stop his action after the people around him blocked it.

Aydın was arrested in the court to which he was transferred and sent to prison on the charge of ‘attempting to kill deliberately’.
