Environment and tourism: agreement between Cna and Wwf

The regional president of CNA Turismo Abruzzo, Claudio Di Dionisio, and the regional delegate of WWF Italy for Abruzzo, Filomena Ricci, signed a memorandum of understanding . This concerns the promotion of tourism based on the conservation of environmental values ​​and biodiversity .

 

To carry out joint initiatives and actions to promote summer and winter tourism in its “active”, “sporting”, “experiential”, “inclusive” dimension, which knows how to involve disabled people and young people with proposals and itineraries, which respects the values environmental, quality of life, culture and typicality of the area; promote the revitalization of villages and inland areas and make the best use of the various reception facilities present; contribute to maintaining and developing the social cohesion of the territories, to promote the development of new businesses that intend to devote themselves to these activities; carry out an initiative to promote this chain of tourist activity towards the main institutional subjects, liaise with the managers of public transport systems,

Cna and Wwf share the idea of ​​a healthy tourism that respects the values ​​of the territory and the environment. An ideal respecting the habitats of the territory and the environment by preserving ecosystems and avoiding soil consumption. The text of the memorandum of understanding aims to bring about growth that eliminates plastic, that respects the dunes, the greenery and the fauna. A further goal is the promotion of visits , excursions and events respecting the balance of nature with specialized and highly trained personnel.
