On the occasion of The Game Awards 2022, Hideo Kojima announced Death Stranding 2 with a spectacular trailer. The movie, which you find below, opens showing the face of Lea Syedoux , who plays Fragile in the first chapter. The video shows a sequence that portrays the character on the run and finally also reveals the return of Sam Porter Bridges , played by actor Norman Reedus.

The official announcement was preceded in recent months by the publication of a series of mysterious teasers published by Kojima . The last of these depicted a female profile that hid the face of Lea Syedoux.

Confirmed unofficially a few months ago by actor Norman Reedus , Death Stranding 2 is the sequel to the popular work of Kojima Productions, a title welcomed by the public and critics and able to offer an experience that embodies all the personality and stylistic imprint of its author, thanks to a commendable direction and a gameplay that deepens and enhances the simulation mechanics.

At the moment Kojima has not revealed further details about the game, but he has invited the public to review the trailer to find out more details. Finally, the author also revealed that the story of Death Stranding 2 was rewritten a second time after the experience of the Covid-19 pandemic and that it is therefore also based on the experiences lived during that period.
