DC Studios CEO James Gunn just revealed on Twitter that in the future DC movies and video games will be connected.
DC Studios CEO James Gunn revealed in a simple response on Twitter that future DC video games and movies will be connected to each other. In this way, DC will become the first production company intent on creating a multiverse that is not only cinematic, but capable of going further, uniting various media.
This is James Gunn’s post in response to a user who tried to ask him if the DC Cinematic Universe would connect to the production house’s video games, made by WB Games. Gunn himself had previously replied to another user, emphasizing how films, television series and DC animation projects will be connected in the future.
We remind you that the videogame title Gotham Knights has just been released , in which the protagonists are Tim Drake / Robin, Barbara Gordon / Batgirl, Dick Grayson / Nightwing and Jason Todd / Red Hood. For 2023, however, is expected Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, which will be made by Rocksteady. Another title that is being talked about concerns Wonder Woman, which will be developed by Monolith Productions.
Neither of these titles are currently connected with DC films, but James Gunn, who has recently taken over his role as CEO, probably already has in mind how to unite these two universes of entertainment.
