Google no more secrets: all plans for smartphones between now and 2025 end up online.

Google’s smartphone division roadmap ends up online. All the launch dates of the next Google Pixel smartphones between now and 2025, with no more secrets. From Pixel 7a to Pixel 8 and beyond.

The dossier was obtained and disclosed by the specialized site Android Authority. In 2023 we will see the launch of the Pixel 7a, the mid-range version of the smartphones presented a few months ago. The presentation is set for May 2023, at the annual Google I/O conference.

Google’s first foldable smartphone will be released in May 2023. Very close!

But the real star of Google I/O 2023 will probably be another phone. On that occasion, the highly anticipated Pixel Fold will also be presented , that is the first smartphone with a folding screen from Google.

Also in 2023 we will see the launch of the next Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro, which has been talked about for a few days. They will both have the new Tensor G3 chipset.

In 2024 and 2025 there are no big unknowns, except for the hypothesis of canceling the mid-range line. In short, it’s not certain that a Pixel 8a will ever see the light, but we’ll talk about it again in the coming months.

So in 2024 it will be the turn of the Pixel 9 with Tensor G4 and probably a second folding smartphone, but with a clamshell form factor (like the Galaxy Z Flip, to understand). In 2025 we will continue as usual, with two new flagships and, depending on the success of the previous foldables, we will probably also see a successor to the first Pixel Fold.
